Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medication Nurse focused on providing safe and accurate medication management for senior residents.
Responsibilities include:
Administering medications and treatments as per physician orders
Following the Six Rights of Medication Administration
Accurate and timely documentation in MAR/TAR
Monitoring symptoms and administering medications for relief
Reporting refusals or adverse reactions promptly
Conducting Service & Health Updates (SHUs)
Transcribing physician orders and supporting care plan updates
Observing and reporting physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
Maintaining medication carts, completing narcotic counts, ensuring compliance
Qualifications & Skills:
- Active LPN license in good standing
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred
