Role Overview:
Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medication Nurse to provide safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation within a senior living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration
- Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real time
- Monitor symptoms, report adverse reactions or refusals promptly
- Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs) and transcribe physician orders
- Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
- Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications & Skills:
- Active, in-good-standing LPN license
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred
