Role Overview: This position is for an Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for delivering direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and contributing to care planning and evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies following policies and procedures.
- Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
- Reinforce patient and family education, discharge planning, and support throughout hospitalization.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs proactively.
- Participate in evidence-based practice decision-making and provide input on team performance.
- Mentor and precept new staff and students in a professional manner.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions based on patient responses.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills.
- Ability to coordinate patient care and promote safety and satisfaction.
