Role: Provides clinical support as an LPN in a radiology setting, ensuring patient preparation, education, and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain and document patient history, vital signs, and assist in examinations.
- Support providers during diagnostic procedures and minor surgeries.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and perform skin testing under provider supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment, ensuring asepsis and readiness of instruments.
- Follow up on diagnostic tests to ensure completion and accuracy, supporting continuity of care.
- Communicate with patients and providers to facilitate efficient care delivery.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
- Three to five years of LPN experience, preferably in procedural or inpatient care settings.
- Ability to work independently with support when needed.
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
