LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse – Interventional Radiology

Role: Provides clinical support as an LPN in a radiology setting, ensuring patient preparation, education, and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and document patient history, vital signs, and assist in examinations.
  • Support providers during diagnostic procedures and minor surgeries.
  • Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and perform skin testing under provider supervision.
  • Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment, ensuring asepsis and readiness of instruments.
  • Follow up on diagnostic tests to ensure completion and accuracy, supporting continuity of care.
  • Communicate with patients and providers to facilitate efficient care delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate of Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
  • Three to five years of LPN experience, preferably in procedural or inpatient care settings.
  • Ability to work independently with support when needed.
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
