Role Overview: The Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides primary clinical support in outpatient settings, assisting providers with patient care, diagnostics, and procedures. They document medical histories, vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. The LPN administers medications, vaccines, and conducts basic diagnostic tests, while maintaining a clean, safe environment and ensuring proper setup of treatment areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support providers during examinations, minor procedures, and diagnostic tests.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, complete documentation, and follow up on test results.
- Communicate with patients, respond to inquiries, and prioritize provider communication.
- Assist with medication administration and patient education.
- Ensure infection control and aseptic techniques in clinical areas.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required). New and experienced LPNs are welcome. Candidates should be team-oriented, detail-driven, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
