Role Overview: This position is for a full-time Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for delivering compassionate patient care, coordinating care activities, and supporting interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities: Contribute to patient assessments, develop and evaluate care plans, administer treatments and medications, and educate patients and families. Collaborate with physicians and staff to address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, ensuring safety and satisfaction. Participate in unit-based decision-making, mentor new staff, and support discharge planning.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a specialty nursing training program is required. Demonstrates strong communication, collaboration, and compassionate care skills. Ability to work in a clinical environment and meet unit standards for patient care.
Additional Information: Work hours typically span early mornings to early evenings, every other weekend and holiday. The role provides opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and participation in shared governance. Candidates may work under a Temporary Practice Permit until obtaining NCLEX certification.
