Role Overview: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides quality nursing care within an interdisciplinary team to promote patients’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report changes in patient conditions
- Assign duties, instruct, and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in accordance with laws and standards
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- Valid and active LPN/LVN license in the applicable state
- Preferably at least one year of skilled nursing experience
- CPR certification (upon hire or during orientation) and ongoing current certification
- Ability to make independent decisions and deliver competent care
- Exemplary customer service skills and positive attitude
