Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for providing direct patient care within the LPN scope of practice, under RN or manager supervision.
- Core Duties: Assessing and managing patient needs, performing routine nursing procedures, coordinating care with team members, and documenting accurately.
- Patient Education: Supporting self-care and caregiver education, reporting safety concerns, and ensuring quality care.
- Communication: Participating in team conferences, updating documentation, and maintaining communication channels.
- Professional Development: Attending training, onboarding, and staying current with clinical knowledge.
Qualifications: High school diploma, nursing certification, valid LPN license, and BLS certification. Preferred: Georgia driver’s license and private vehicle insurance.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of medical/surgical nursing in an acute care setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical, assessment, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Windows-based software and home health tools.
