LPN – Cardiac Intermediate 4D

This role involves utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision or guidance of licensed professionals, ensuring professional accountability and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating patient care in collaboration with other departments
  • Managing high-acuity post-operative cardiothoracic, vascular, and medical overflow patients in a 28-bed monitored unit
  • Administering therapies such as chest tubes, lytic therapy, antidysrhythmics, vasopressors, Bipap, insulin drips, and sedatives
  • Participating in cross-training and career development opportunities within critical care settings

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience
  • Current LPN license in the state of practice, maintained per state requirements
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and turn patients, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Basic Life Support certification required; IV certification preferred
  • Open to both new and experienced LPNs
