This opportunity is for a hospital-based obstetrics and gynecology professional responsible for pager call coverage from 5 pm to 7 am.
Key duties include:
- Handling approximately 100+ deliveries per month, with 4-7 deliveries on weekends
- Managing about 25% high-risk obstetric cases
- Providing fetal monitoring and managing obstetric emergencies
- Participating in vacation coverage
Qualifications include BLS and NRP certifications.
Skills required:
- Strong obstetric and gynecologic knowledge
- Excellent fetal monitoring abilities
- Ability to handle high-risk cases
