Role Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides patient care by utilizing the nursing process under supervision or the guidance of a Registered Nurse, ensuring professional accountability and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient care with other departments.
  • Utilize nursing skills to deliver safe and effective care.
  • Maintain documentation and adhere to confidentiality protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience.
  • Current LPN license as per state requirements.
  • Preferred certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEARS, and unit-specific certifications.
  • Ability to push, pull, lift 50 lbs, and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed.
