Seeking a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized patient care based on a delegated plan, addressing physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psychosocial, and educational needs.
- Monitoring and documenting patient status, including vital signs, dressings, drains, and lab results.
- Communicating patient observations and changes to healthcare team members.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential medical records.
- Using specialized equipment for data collection and orienting patients and families to routines.
- Administering and documenting medications per policies.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of one year of LPN experience or equivalent residency/program completion.
- Current LPN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or the state of practice.
- Acceptance of RN licensure if obtained during employment.
Skills and Conditions:
- Knowledge of patient care, documentation, and medication administration.
- Ability to work in a day shift environment.
