Role: Provides basic nursing care in a non-acute outpatient setting under supervision, following regulatory, professional, and organizational standards.
Responsibilities: Assists with patient examinations, prepares exam rooms, documents health information, educates patients on self-care, administers medications, monitors supplies, and manages communication with providers. Supports team education, maintains a safe environment, and adheres to compliance policies. May serve as a preceptor or participate in governance activities.
Qualifications: Completion of an approved LPN program or recognized equivalent, current LPN licensure in the state or recognized multistate license, with no prior experience required. If pursuing RN licensure, immediate notification is necessary.
Skills & Abilities: Knowledgeable in nursing practices, capable of patient care, medication administration, documentation, and teamwork.
Additional Info: Performs duties in variable shifts at a clinic location, emphasizing compassionate, patient-centered care and professional growth. This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor or manager.
