Role: Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) supporting plasma collection operations.
Responsibilities: Determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, review lab results, notify donors of test outcomes, evaluate donor reactions, handle medical emergencies per SOPs, and refer complex issues to physicians. Support employee vaccination programs, manage incidents, and assist with pandemic response efforts as authorized.
Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent, licensed or certified as LPN or LVN, CPR and AED certification, basic IV therapy certification, and at least two years of clinical or hospital experience. Familiarity with industry regulations and safety protocols is essential.
Key Duties: Conduct medical history interviews, physical exams, blood testing, and review of serological tests. Evaluate reactions, follow SOPs for emergencies, and collaborate with physicians and medical affairs for guidance. Support environmental, health, and safety initiatives.
