Role Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide patient support, assist medical staff, and ensure smooth clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients, prepare them for examinations, record health histories, and note abnormalities.
• Assist with supplies, equipment, and procedures, including administering injections and medications.
• Observe and report patient conditions and reactions to treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records, schedule tests, coordinate referrals, and obtain pre-authorizations.
• Collect lab specimens, deliver results, and communicate with patients regarding test outcomes.
• Restock and clean exam rooms, follow infection control policies, and manage inventory of medications and supplies.
• Support provider during physical exams, instruct patients and families, and handle phone triage and referrals.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Licensed as an LPN in accordance with state regulations.
• Preferred experience in hospital or clinical settings.
