The Therapist / Mental Health Professional provides therapeutic services, program planning, and supervision to clients and staff, under the guidance of a Clinical or Regional Director.
Requires an advanced degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related fields, with licensure or eligibility within two years. Preferably has at least two years of experience in mental health services. Must maintain current Iowa licensure if practicing in a licensed field. Possesses knowledge of human growth, behavioral principles, and treatment therapies. Responsibilities include individual therapy, assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, community education, staff training, crisis response, and supporting interns. Must participate in meetings, training, and keep current with therapeutic practices. Provides support to clients and families, develops educational materials, and handles emergency services as needed. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, and paid time off.
