Work involves community outreach, coordinating needs before and after housing, enhancing daily living skills, offering supportive counseling, and advocating against discrimination and healthcare inequities. The role emphasizes member choice, harm reduction, non-coercion, flexibility, and person-centered approaches. Follow-up support continues months after housing placement to ensure stability and wellbeing. Position requires fieldwork, periodic on-call coverage, and flexible hours, with travel across three counties. Minimum qualifications include a licensed master’s degree in social work, counseling, nursing, or psychology; MSW candidates with plans for licensure are considered. Full-time, pay $32-$34/hour, with benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Must be willing to relocate to Norwich, NY before starting.
