Licensed Family Therapist I

The Family Therapist provides individual, family, group, and crisis counseling to victims and secondary victims of sexual assault.

Assess and deliver ongoing trauma and recovery support

Facilitate weekly support groups and develop age-appropriate group sessions for children

Maintain client records and collect demographic data for grant reporting

Collaborate with staff and external mental health professionals for referrals and training

Conduct emergency crisis interventions and evaluate client progress

Build relationships with local mental health agencies

Qualifications: Master’s degree, professional license, experience with sexual assault victims, and strong communication skills.

Supervision: Reports to the Advocacy Director.
