Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor/ADC-T

This full-time position requires knowledge of

  • 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA,
  • Reporting Maltreatment of Vulnerable Adults and Minors,
  • Conducting comprehensive substance use assessments,
  • Clinical evaluations,
  • Understanding Substance Use Disorders,
  • Referral processes,
  • Case management,
  • Group dynamics,
  • Residential/outpatient treatment,
  • Aftercare resources,
  • Relapse prevention,
  • Co-occurring disorders,
  • and
  • Professional ethics and diagnostic criteria.

  • Skills include conducting evaluations, placements, maintaining records, developing treatment plans, providing counseling (group, individual, family), diagnosis, and making referrals.

    Preferred education is a Bachelor’s degree, with at least 1 year of addiction counseling experience encouraged.
