Lead Sales Associate – Full Time

Role Overview:
This position involves functioning as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with responsibilities including assisting in store operations, customer service, inventory management, and store maintenance. In the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager, the role includes acting as a lead, handling cash, authorizing refunds, and ensuring security and operational procedures are followed.

Key Duties:

Unload trucks, stock shelves, and rotate merchandise to maintain product displays.

Assist customers with locating items and provide excellent service.

Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and maintain checkout areas.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including cleaning floors, restrooms, and stockrooms.

Implement and maintain plan-o-grams and merchandising standards.

Support store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and bank deposits.

Monitor security and cash control practices, including supervising cashiers and overseeing safety protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:

Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash accurately.
Knowledge of cash handling procedures, register functions, and safety policies.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of merchandising standards and safety practices.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with six months of supervisory or related experience recommended.
