Interventional Radiology Technologist

Role Overview

This position is for an Interventional Radiology Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures across various modalities, including computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and other advanced techniques. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently or in on-call situations, and ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures
  • Respond promptly to service requests from patients and physicians
  • Work independently, including during on-call, portable exams, and across different sites

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate or Trade School education
  • Licenses & Certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; IEMA for Illinois (excluding MRI)
  • No prior experience required; preferred 2+ years of experience
  • CPR and intravenous therapy certifications preferred
