Special Procedures Tech needed for a fast-paced hospital environment supporting interventional and diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and procedure rooms for vascular and interventional studies.
- Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to support accurate procedures.
- Assist physicians during interventional and diagnostic cases.
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes during procedures.
- Document care and maintain required records according to policy.
- Ensure radiation safety and strict sterile technique throughout all activities.
Required Collaboration & Compliance
- Work closely with nurses, radiologists, and other clinicians to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.
- Follow regulatory standards and facility policies at all times.
Skills/Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of imaging equipment operations and sterile/radiation safety practices.
- Ability to assist during complex vascular/interventional procedures and maintain patient focus.
- Good documentation skills and effective teamwork in a clinical setting.
