Position: Registered Nurse, Interventional Radiology
Location: Elmhurst
Type: PRN
Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing care for Interventional Radiology patients, administer IV conscious sedation and medications under physician direction, monitor patient status during procedures, respond to emergencies including contrast reactions, start IVs, manage central lines, perform dressing changes, collaborate with radiologists and care teams, support procedure scheduling and patient flow, educate patients and families, document care in Epic, support quality and safety initiatives, mentor and train new staff.
Qualifications & Skills: 2+ years of IR or Cath Lab experience, IL RN license, graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing school (BSN preferred, must obtain within 5 years), BLS & ACLS certifications (American Heart Association).
