Internal Medicine Physician

Seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician (MD or DO) licensed in California for a 1099 independent contractor role at a residential eating disorder treatment center in Monterey.

Provide medical assessments, follow-ups, and collaborate on treatment planning.

Manage labs, medications, and address medical issues, supporting the clinical team.

Participate in medical rounds, documentation, and urgent consultations.

Travel twice monthly to Monterey and Santa Barbara locations.

Requirements include a valid California license, active DEA registration, and preferably experience with eating disorders or behavioral health. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach are essential.

Compensation includes per-visit rates ($250 initial, $125 follow-up), plus a monthly administrative stipend of $1,500 per facility. Expected hours are 5–10 per week, in person only.
