Local ICU RN provides high-acuity bedside nursing care for critically ill patients in an Intensive Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and manage patients with critical health needs, responding promptly to condition changes.
- Provide ventilator and infusion drip management as ordered.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop, implement, and update care plans.
- Maintain accurate, thorough clinical documentation.
- Follow ICU protocols, infection-control standards, and other safety requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) with ICU experience or strong critical care competency.
- Proficiency in critical assessment, continuous monitoring, and rapid intervention.
- Ability to manage complex therapies, including ventilators and IV infusions.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and adherence to clinical and safety protocols.
