Role: Occupational Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patients’ daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Services are delivered across a continuum in a cost-effective, quality-focused, and customer-oriented manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and revise treatment plans collaboratively with patients and families, providing education, discharge instructions, and referrals.
- Evaluate patients’ needs, establish treatment goals, and develop individualized plans of care in coordination with physicians and families.
- Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans according to departmental guidelines.
- Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and professionalism while fostering teamwork and effective communication.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by applying AIDET principles, promoting a positive environment, and supporting patient and staff needs.
- Engage in professional development, mandatory training, and participate in orientation and training of new staff.
- Adhere to organizational policies, safety protocols, infection prevention, and participate in process improvement activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Licenses and certifications: Occupational Therapist license and BLS certification.
- Effective communication skills, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer proficiency.
