Inpatient Rehab Occupational Therapist

Role: Occupational Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to restore or improve patients’ daily activities, mobility, cognitive functions, strength, coordination, and range of motion.


Key Responsibilities: Develop and revise treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families, conduct patient assessments, and provide ongoing education and discharge instructions. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans according to departmental guidelines. Serve as a resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services and equipment. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain confidentiality.


Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, valid OT license, and BLS certification. Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills are essential. Participate in professional development, mandatory education, and team activities. Uphold ethical practices, foster a positive environment, and adhere to organizational policies.


Additional Duties: Engage in process improvements, safety practices, and support a respectful, diverse workplace. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure quality patient care and organizational standards.
