Inpatient Pharmacy Technician 3

Role Overview:

Seeking a certified Pharmacy Technician III to support outpatient oncology/infusion pharmacy workflows in a nationally recognized cancer center. Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and providers to ensure safe, timely, and patient-centered cancer care. Responsibilities include preparing medication orders, assisting with dispensing and compounding medications, managing inventory, and maintaining documentation to meet quality and regulatory standards.

Assist in sterile and non-sterile compounding, support system automation, and serve as a resource for resolving complex issues. Take primary responsibility for specific tasks or areas such as training, process improvement, and compliance. Demonstrate proficiency in pharmacy systems and seek opportunities to develop advanced skills in sterile preparations and other responsibilities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-5 years of experience; 5-10 years preferred
  • State Board Pharmacy Registration and Pharmacy Tech Certification
  • Strong attention to quality assurance, inventory management, and electronic system use
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a specialized healthcare environment
