Role Overview:
The Pharmacy Technician II supports safe and efficient pharmacy operations by preparing medications, including sterile and non-sterile compounding, and working closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to deliver patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain quality assurance standards and proper documentation
- Assist in medication workflow, preparation, and compounding
- Utilize automated and electronic systems for managing inventory, records, and compliance
- Support inventory management activities such as storage, ordering, and rotation
- Pursue proficiency in sterile preparation and advanced skills
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience; 2-5 years preferred
- State Board of Pharmacy registration
- Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Knowledge of compounding, inventory management, and pharmacy systems
