Role Overview:
We are seeking a certified inpatient pharmacy technician to support patient care in a hospital setting. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, you will prepare medication orders, assist in dispensing and transporting medications, and perform sterile and non-sterile compounding. You will utilize automated and electronic systems for medication management, maintain documentation, and support inventory activities such as storage, ordering, and rotation. The role requires maintaining quality assurance standards and regulatory compliance, with opportunities to develop advanced compounding skills.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED
- National pharmacy technician certification
- Minimum 2 years pharmacy experience (preferred 2-5 years)
- State pharmacy technician registration
- Proficiency with automated systems and inventory management
- Attention to detail and patient-centered approach
