Role Overview:
This position is for a certified pharmacy technician specializing in sterile compounding within a home infusion team. The role involves preparing medications, assisting with dispensing, transporting medications, and maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Candidates should have experience in sterile compounding or home infusion, with proficiency in using automated systems, managing inventory, and supporting medication workflows.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining quality assurance and documentation standards.
- Preparing medication orders, including non-sterile compounding and basic dispensing.
- Utilizing electronic systems for inventory, patient records, and compliance.
- Supporting inventory management activities such as storage, ordering, and cleanliness.
- Developing skills in sterile preparation and advanced compounding techniques.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of experience; pharmacy technician certification and state registration required.
- Preferred experience ranges from 2-5 years.
