Role Overview:
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to join a collaborative pharmacy team.
In this role, you will support safe medication dispensing, including sterile and non-sterile compounding, medication preparation, and distribution. You will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to enhance patient care, manage inventory, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining quality assurance standards and documentation
- Preparing medication orders and performing compounding tasks
- Utilizing automated/electronic systems for inventory, patient records, and compliance
- Supporting inventory management activities
- Pursuing proficiency in sterile preparations and advanced skills
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience (preferred 2-5 years)
- State Board of Pharmacy registration
- Pharmacy Technician Certification
The role involves working Monday through Friday during the day, with weekend and holiday rotations. The position offers opportunities for professional growth and development within a supportive healthcare environment.
