Role Overview: This position involves entering prescriptions, verifying information, resolving claims issues by contacting patients, pharmacists, and healthcare providers, processing prescriptions from intake to completion, packing orders for shipment, and managing supply and drug orders.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate prescription data entry and verification
- Communicate with patients, pharmacies, and providers to resolve issues
- Process and complete prescription orders efficiently
- Address customer concerns with accurate information
- Prepare orders for shipment and manage inventory
Qualifications & Skills:
- North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license and registration
- Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience
- Proficiency with computer applications and navigating complex systems
- Good phone etiquette and communication skills
- Preferred: Retail, hospital, or infusion pharmacy experience, PTCB certification
