Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. It is ideal for nurses with 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience interested in advancing their critical care skills in a supportive environment. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, promoting patient and family-centered care, and participating in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The role requires developing and documenting individualized care plans, communicating effectively across care teams, and evaluating patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting their values and cultural backgrounds. The position involves working in a safety-sensitive environment, requiring constant alertness.
**Qualifications:**
– RN license
– Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
– Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred
– Valid RN license
– Ability to work safely and effectively in a critical care setting
