Position Overview:
Seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a 12-bed medical/surgical unit with capabilities for hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within established standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Participate in ensuring patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific considerations.
- Maintain a safe environment, demonstrating alertness and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Active RN license required.
- Educational background: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Preferred experience: 2+ years in critical or ICU care.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
