ICU RN Clinical Staff
Provide critical care to high-acuity patients in an intensive care unit, delivering comprehensive assessment and implementing evidence-based care plans. Manage advanced therapies including titrating IV drips and caring for ventilated patients, while continually evaluating patient response and adjusting treatment as needed.
Key Duties
- Conduct frequent, detailed patient assessments and develop/update care plans
- Titrate drips and manage ventilators for appropriate patient support
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Support and educate families while upholding patient safety
- Follow infection control standards and promote a safe care environment
- Participate in quality improvement efforts
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN licensure with strong ICU/critical care experience
- Proficiency with ventilator and critical infusion management
- Strong clinical judgment, prioritization, and rapid escalation skills
- Effective communication and teamwork with clinical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented documentation and compliance with safety protocols
