Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in an ICU setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing activities. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and ensures safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include developing and communicating individualized care plans, evaluating physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and respecting patient preferences and cultural values. The role requires working in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety as priorities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Current RN license
- ICU experience and BSN preferred; 2+ years of experience advantageous
- Training in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS)
