ICU Clinical Nurse

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care in an ICU setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, safety promotion, and participation in professional development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
  • Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide specialized critical care, including pre/post-op cardiothoracic surgery, cardiac, neuro, pulmonary, renal, and medical services.
  • Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Required: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree, RN license.
  • Preferred: BSN degree and at least 2 years of ICU experience.
  • Certifications: ACLS, specialized critical care training preferred.
