Role Overview: This position involves providing personalized home health speech/language pathology services to patients, focusing on rehabilitation, functional improvement, and enhancing quality of life.
- Key Responsibilities: Evaluate, develop, and review treatment plans; assess and treat speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders; administer diagnostic tests; monitor patient progress; instruct patients on communication aids; provide counseling and education to patients, families, and healthcare staff; maintain accurate documentation; participate in care coordination and discharge planning; ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Qualifications & Skills: Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology (ASHA), minimum six months of experience, valid license, CPR certification, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license.
- Preferred Experience: Home health experience is advantageous.
