Position Overview
The Speech Therapist provides quality patient care based on physician orders, including assessments, treatments, care planning, and family education. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining individualized plans of care, coordinating with healthcare teams, and ensuring effective communication while adhering to policies, regulations, and confidentiality standards. The role involves evaluating patient needs, setting goals, and documenting progress to support optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
- Unrestricted SLP license in the practicing state
- Current CPR certification, driver’s license, and auto insurance proof
- Preferred: at least one year of recent experience in an acute care setting
