Position Overview:
The Clinical Manager – Home Health oversees clinical staff serving high medical acuity clients and those receiving extended non-licensed support. They ensure staff orientation, competence, and compliance with licensing, medical standards, and agency policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage clinical programs, services, and staff in line with company policies.
- Support agency growth in home care services.
- Act as a clinical expert, assisting with operational and financial management.
- Investigate client complaints and ensure quality care through regular home visits.
- Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training clinical staff.
- Evaluate programs for continuous improvement.
- Supervise clinical staff, conduct evaluations, and oversee case management to ensure financially sound services.
- Manage caseloads as needed for client coverage.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist licensure in the practice state.
- Associates degree required.
- Preferred: 3+ years RN experience in home health or hospice, Medicare Skilled Nursing knowledge, and OASIS familiarity.
- Active CPR certification.
