Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant

This position involves administering prescribed physical therapy treatments to patients of all ages, assisting with program development, and ensuring efficient operations.

Communicates and documents patient information according to agency policies and guidelines.

Requirements include an associate degree from an accredited program, licensure in NC/SC, CPR certification, and at least 6 months of experience. Skills needed involve knowledge of therapy procedures, equipment handling, patient transfers, and manual techniques. Candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal, physical, and mental abilities, including the capacity to lift over 50 lbs, apply therapy techniques, and prioritize duties. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and occasional stair climbing. Must have a valid NC driver’s license and vehicle. The role serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with variable hours including weekends and holidays.
