Role Overview: The Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant provides personalized therapy services under supervision to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing treatment plans, adapting equipment, and fabricating devices to promote functional independence.
- Provide therapeutic treatments and instruct patients and families on home programs and equipment use.
- Report patient progress, document observations, and support care coordination and discharge planning.
- Participate in community reintegration activities and interdisciplinary team efforts to enhance patient recovery.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current, unrestricted OTA licensure and CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Preferred: Six months of OTA experience, especially in home health settings.
