Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant

Role Overview: The Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant provides personalized therapy services under supervision to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing treatment plans, adapting equipment, and fabricating devices to promote functional independence.
  • Provide therapeutic treatments and instruct patients and families on home programs and equipment use.
  • Report patient progress, document observations, and support care coordination and discharge planning.
  • Participate in community reintegration activities and interdisciplinary team efforts to enhance patient recovery.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current, unrestricted OTA licensure and CPR certification.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Preferred: Six months of OTA experience, especially in home health settings.

Additional Details: This patient-facing role involves TB screening and driver safety requirements. Compensation ranges from $64,000 to $87,500 annually, with comprehensive benefits supporting overall well-being.
