Role Overview:

This RN position involves providing direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, supporting patients with conditions such as myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, and pulmonary hypertension. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and participation in safety and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within nursing standards.
  • Developing and documenting individualized plans of care collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
  • Promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while supporting professional development.
  • Using critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree and RN licensure.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive role.
