High-Risk Cardiology – Clinical RN (Day Shift) → Cardiology Clinical RN (Day Shift)

Role Overview:

Our high-risk cardiology unit provides critical care for patients with complex cardiac conditions, including CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-procedure care. The Registered Nurse will deliver direct patient care, perform assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with an interprofessional team to promote safety, quality, and patient education.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing patient and family-centered education on illness management and post-discharge care.
  • Participating in safety initiatives and professional development activities.
  • Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers.
  • Ensuring clear communication of care plans across the continuum.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree and RN license.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and extensive EKG training.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
