Seeking a hand surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care at a healthcare facility. This role involves treating patients during a 4-hour weekly or biweekly shift, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex cases, supporting return-to-work and functional goals, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams. You will provide both surgical and non-surgical orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal services, communicate with employers, and participate in case management.
Qualifications:
- Experience with work-related injuries preferred
- Licensed to practice in your state with unrestricted DEA license
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Hand Surgery
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
- Must carry medical malpractice insurance
