Seeking a hand surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care at a healthcare facility. This contract role complements your current practice, involving approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, facilitating return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams to deliver non-surgical and surgical treatments for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. You will also communicate with employers and participate in case management.
Qualifications:
– Experience with work-related injuries
– Licensure and board certification or eligibility in Hand Surgery
– Unrestricted DEA license
– Medical malpractice insurance
