Seeking a hand surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site services for a healthcare organization. This flexible role involves treating patients during approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing complex medically related cases, supporting return-to-work efforts, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams to deliver surgical and non-surgical orthopedic care. Active case management and communication with employers are also key.
Qualifications:
• Experience with work-related injuries
• Licensure in the practicing state
• MD or DO from an accredited program
• Unrestricted DEA license
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Hand Surgery
• Medical Malpractice Insurance
