We are seeking a hand surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care for approximately 4-hour shifts weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing complex patients, aiding return-to-work and functional recovery, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams. You will provide non-surgical and surgical orthopedic services, communicate with employers, and participate in case management.
Qualifications:
• Experience with work-related injuries
• State licensure
• MD or DO graduate from accredited institution
• Unrestricted DEA license
• Board certification or eligibility in Hand Surgery
• Medical malpractice insurance required.
