The Graduate Nurse supports Orthopedics by providing direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards after completing a nursing program and prior to licensure.
Responsibilities include promoting patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management and medication, assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, developing and adjusting care plans, and ensuring patient safety and quality compliance.
Minimum requirements are a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree with no experience needed; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
The role requires obtaining licensure within 90 days of graduation to maintain employment.
